Job Duties:

Manually plant, cultivate, transplant and harvest trees. Duties also include operating tractors and skid steers, maintaining fields, ball digging, trimming trees, tying tops of trees, cutting trees, wrapping tree trunks in protective felt, preparing digging machines, driving trucks, packing trees onto trucks, unloading inventory, using watering system, trimming, watering, fertilizing, hoeing weeds and mowing between tree rows. Other duties on the farm as assigned. Allergens will be encountered: hay, pollen, dust, etc.

HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL NURSERY PRODUCTION Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work Conditions: Employees will be exposed to various weather conditions, including wet weather in the morning and heat during the day. Suitable clothing for light rain and temperatures ranging from 10F to 100F is required. Workers may need to work during occasional showers not severe enough to stop work activities. Physical Demands: Workers should be able to stand, bend, stoop, and work for prolonged periods. Physical fitness is necessary to perform duties, including lifting at least 55 pounds.
