- Job Duties:
- Help protect cattle from winter elements such as sleet, snow, ice, freezing temperatures; move snow; freshen pens to protect against cold stress; ensure that water troughs are thawed and clean, prevent slippery areas; replace bedding as necessary to avoid contamination and disease; distribute feed to cattle; drive equipment such a tractor with feed wagon; mix and grind in prescribed portions; assist with birthing; repair and maintain buildings, fences, and other structures such as corrals, feeding/watering facilities, equipment.
