Job Duties:

Daily inspection of cattle on the ranch to confirm health of the herd. Maintenance and upkeep of fencing/ barns / feeders, etc. on the ranch. Maintenance of equipment such as tractors, mowers, hay baler, and other farm equipment on the ranch. Feeding of hay, feed supplements, vitamins, and minerals to cattle on the ranch. Loading and transportation of cattle to various appointments, showings, and other destinations.

Special Requirements:

May be required to take post hire random drug and/or alcohol tests, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. May be required to submit a post hire employer paid criminal background check. Failure to comply or felony convictions that the employer reasonably believes will impair safety of others on the worksite will result in immediate termination. Must be able to obtain drivers license within 30 days of hire. May have to work nights, possibly weekends. Typical daily work schedule includes an hour lunch break. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on Sabbath.
