- Job Duties:
- BJJ Engstrom Farm processes dry edible beans and barley. We need seasonal workers for our processing and packaging plant in the winter months. We currently have enough labor to run equipment for spring work and planting. The job duties for these laborers will include; monitoring mills, monitoring packaging equipment, keeping informed of daily processing and shipment requirements, communicating effectively with the direct supervisor to understand daily tasks, and notifying them promptly when a problem arises. BJJ is seeking hard working, motivated individuals with any of the following skill sets : 1. Processing crops 2. Equipment maintenance 3. General building maintenance 4. Ability to follow HACCP guidelines 5. Forklift operation 6. Knowledge or ability to learn grain grading techniques

- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Employment may be terminated for the following reasons: Repeated absenteeism or tardiness. Violation of safety protocols. Failure to perform job duties satisfactorily. Misconduct or insubordination. Substance abuse on the job and operating machinery and vehicles
