- Job Duties:
- We operate a 1,200 acres corn and soybean farm and need seasonal workers to assist the raising of these crops. Our season starts in the fall with harvesting crops. Employees will need to operate farm equipment including tractors, combines and grain carts to harvest crops and then haul crops from the fields. Employees will need to drive semi-trucks to haul crops to grain elevators. Harvested crops are hauled to grain bins and storage elevators in the winter months. Employees will also need to haul and spread manure on fields during the winter months to prepare the fields for planting in the spring. In the spring employees will need to operate farm equipment to plow and plant crops. We do not need employees during the summer months since our crops are growing and we rely on rainfall during the summer. Employees will need to return in the fall to assist with harvesting again. Complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.
