Job Duties:

Assist with birthing cows and heifers, processing, weaning calves, checking multiple times daily; receive stockers; move cattle to winter pasture for grazing; break ice on water tanks and ponds as needed; drive truck for hauling; perform repairs as needed; mix feed and haul feed to cows; remove temporary fencing, sell yearling calves and stockers; move cows and newborn calves to grass pasture for grazing during peak forage production; inspect, maintain, prepare, repair buildings, pens, yards, fences.

Special Requirements:

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
