Job Duties:

Workers will be working on 30 acres. From November thru January workers will be harvesting 15 acres of winter strawberry. Job duties are: - Pick vegetable from plant by hand or using a knife to remove fruit from plant according to size, color, shape and degree of maturity; - Keep count of harvested and loaded crops, ensuring accuracy of all counts, record keeping; - May separate fruit according to size and uniformity. - Close container after packing and stack full containers according to size. February thru mid-March workers will be transplanting 15 acres of new plant of strawberry. Job duties are: - Remove plant from box and transplant plant into ready-made hole. From mid-March thru mid-April workers will be transplanting 15 acres of zucchini. Job duties are: - Dig small hole with stick, remove plant from container and transplant plant into hole. From March thru June workers will be harvesting strawberry and zucchini. Job duties for the harvesting of strawberry are: - Pick vegetable from plant by hand or using a knife to remove fruit from plant according to size, color, shape and degree of maturity; - Keep count of harvested and loaded crops, ensuring accuracy of all counts, record keeping; - May separate fruit according to size and uniformity. - Close container after packing and stack full containers according to size. Job duties for the harvesting of zucchini are: -Cut vegetable from plant using a harvesting knife, throw onto packing table; separate vegetable according to size and place in box; -Once box is full, pass box to person on trailer to place on pallet. Dimensions and weight of boxes for strawberry and zucchini. STRAWBERRY: Box dimensions are 20” x 12” x 3” - Weights 1 Lbs. when empty - Weights 10 Lbs. when full. ZUCCHINI: Large box dimensions are 17" x 13" x 11" - Weights 2 Lbs. (Empty) - Weights 22 Lbs. when full. Small box dimensions are 17" x 13' x 7" - Weights 2 Lbs. when empty - Weights 22 Lbs. when full.
