- Job Duties:
- Workers will be operating machinery and equipment to assist in daily farm operations. Operating a forklift within the packing shed to move pallets from the packing line to storage and trailers for distribution may be required. Perform minor repairs on machinery as necessary. Workers will haul and transport harvested crops, premature plants, and farm equipment within the area as needed. Workers will be required to maintain equipment which includes checking basic vehicle fluids such as oil and water, may perform minor maintenance on said vehicles, and wash said vehicles as required. Workers will operate vehicles to transport workers to and from the worksite and housing location each workday. Additional duties may include general repair and maintenance to farm structures, buildings, and fencing as needed. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Three (3) months of previous equipment operator experience required.
