- Job Duties:
- Attend to live farm animals including cattle. Duties may include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, milking, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. May maintain records on animals; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; assist in birth deliveries; and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas. May drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., with potential nights and Sundays required depending on the animals and weather.

- Must be a safe operator of trucks and machinery. Must have a clean driving record. Must have equipment operation knowledge. Must have operators license in order to operate farm plate vehicles.
