Job Duties:

General farm labor, including but not limited to: Drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery. Till soil, plant, irrigate, fertilize, harvest, store, and pack crops. Bag corn. Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment. Load and unload supplies, boxes, containers, produce during harvest, etc. Perform manual labor, mechanical repairs, and maintenance such as preparing barns, draining fields, preparing land for planting, and maintenance of farm vehicles and implements, fences, and tools. Workers may receive salary increases and bonuses based on merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements:

Must be 18 or older. Due to the use of vehicles and heavy machinery, drug testing may be conducted post-hire at the employers expense and is not part of the interview process. All workers may be subject to mandatory testing if they have been involved in a reportable accident or upon reasonable suspicion that drug use is impacting job performance. Criminal background checks are conducted post-hire at the employers expense. Because workers use expensive, heavy agriculture equipment, any worker with recent a criminal conviction for DWI or property crimes will be terminated.
