Job Duties:
Prepare beehives for pollination season. Follow the instructions of experienced Beekeepers, working to ensure high quality hive health. Load and unload beehives. Move beehives to and from various field and orchard locations in order to pollinate crops. Assist in raising queen bees, as well as in treating, medicating and feeding bees. Increase and spilt beehives. Monitor and manage all beehives. Harvest, extract and package honey. Clean and sanitize honey extraction plant. General facility maintenance and upkeep. Repair and build bee boxes, and complete other basic upkeep duties such as facility maintenance and bee yard clean-up. Workers will be performing pollination services, working with bees and honey.
