- Job Duties:
- Temporary, seasonal nursery workers needed in Rapides Parish, LA. Job duties include: plant/harvest nursery plants (trees, shrubs, vines, ground cover, etc.). General farm/nursery work associated with all aspects of farming/nursery. Farm field/shed sanitation duties including: mow grass, dig ditches, levees, fences, etc. Maintenance/operation of farm equipment. Work in nursery facilities. Random drug screening upon hire (paid for by Employer). Exposure to extreme temperatures; extensive walking; extensive pushing or pulling; frequent stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive movements for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift 50lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions. 35 hours per week. Daily work schedule includes 1 unpaid lunch hour. Overtime hours may be available and varies. Debe ser capaz de levantar 50 libras y trabajar en condiciones climáticas adversas. 35 horas semanales. El horario de trabajo diario incluye 1 hora de almuerzo no remunerada.
