Job Duties:

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Prepare calving areas; Sort cattle for sale; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock, feed, commodities from one location to another; Distribute feed/commodities; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Break ice in water facilities and maintain heated watering systems; Inspect, maintain, prepare, repair livestock equipment, facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Must be able to speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
