Job Duties:

Perform quality checks and controls on crops in bin storage such as sample moisture, monitor lids; Climb rungs and ensure snow and rain are not entering storage; Discard rotten crop or foreign matter; Grade and sort crops such as corn, rice, soybeans according to factors such as variety, moisture and quality to ensure correct processing and usage; Move loads to point of storage; Communicate with driver in loading trailer; Record grade or identification numbers on loads and shipping.

Special Requirements:

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
