Job Duties:

Operate Claas and John Deere self-propelled, high horsepower harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops: adjust speed and settings of machinery using hand, pneumatic, and electric tools to make changes for appropriate crops; drives semi to transport crops from field to elevator or storage area. Drives transporter truck to haul harvesting machines between worksites. Services machinery, and makes in field repairs; driving farm pickup; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Operate farm equipment including plows, shredders, planters, and wheat drills.

Special Requirements:

Worker must have/be able to obtain and maintain throughout employment a valid DL: Class A CDL or equiv . Must comply with all applicable requirements of USDOT regs. Must pass a post-hire road test to gauge driving ability. Employer uniformly conducts a post-hire DOT physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check at no cost to the worker. Must have proficiency in English to communicate, read/comprehend traffic signage, and interact with roadway officials.
