Job Duties:

We have a chicken hatchery production facility. We incubate chicken eggs, hatch the chicks, separate the chicks by gender, package customer chick orders, and ship chicks. Employees will operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) that require a valid commercial driver license (CDL) to safely and reliably pick up eggs and deliver chicks. Employees will assist in loading and unloading trucks at the hatchery, at farms, and at shipping locations, as well as ensure loads are inspected and secured for transport. Employees will be responsible for all load-related documentation and its accuracy, pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and timely submission of all receipts related to the job role. In addition to the CDL driving role, employees will perform maintenance duties on vehicles and within the hatchery, as well as assist in all other areas of the hatchery, as needed.

Must have a CDL or must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Job requires extensive sitting, walking, repetitive movements, and frequent stooping or bending over. Require 3 months experience.
