Job Duties:

This position provides fertilizer for grain and soybean farms, seasonal equipment operators and drivers are needed to use front end loaders to fill fertilizer, driver trucks to deliver fertilizer, load customer vehicles with packaged fertilizer using forklift and cart, operate a seed treater, fertilizer spreader, filling anhydrous tanks for customers. Background checks are performed post hire and at the expense of the employer, those with convictions involving narcotics, assault and motor vehicle felonies will be terminated. Drug tests are preformed randomly, upon accident, incident or suspicion and are at the expense of the employer. Failure or refusal to take a drug test is grounds for immediate termination. During peak times, workers may work 10+ more hours per week. Applicants must have a CDL license or a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license and 3 months of experience operating semi-trucks is required.

These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of cell phones during work hours is prohibited, supervisors will have phones in case of emergency.
