Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse including: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as drying, bagging processing; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray, water, and harvest crops such as soybeans, rice; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer to be delivered to market or storage facilities; Manually walk fields to weed; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
