Job Duties:

Perform duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to a tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Manual labor, drain excess water from crops, assist in irrigation of crops and chop weeds. Put crop in bins as well as remove grain. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive farm trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Assist with irrigation. Crops: Corn, Rice, Soy Beans Equipment: Tractor, Combine, Grain Truck

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Most work is performed outdoors and workers will be exposed to extreme warm and hot temperatures. Some job duties require physical and manual labor and will require extensive sitting, walking, pushing and pulling . Some movements might be repetitive. Work duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
