- Job Duties:
- Worker will use 200 HP tractors, implements and other equipment (cut rake, balers, etc) with plant, cultivate, harvest and bail hay. Worker will maintain and repair fences, equipment, farm buildings and roads to include landscape maintenance, planting flowers/vegetable plants, weeding, painting, cleaning and small repairs to irrigation supply lines. Worker will grind feed and distribute to cattle during breeding and non grazing times, fill water troughs, assist with vaccinations and medications. Workers must have 3 months of verifiable experience with animal husbandry, operating 200+ HP tractors, and be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and complete the physical requirements of the job. Workers will operate farm trucks to transport hay to and from fields and barns. This is a seasonal position that is only available during the hay production season, there is no work available during the dormant months of December and January.
