- Job Duties:
- From January 25, 2025 through August 25th 2025 -Workers perform several manual tasks at Garza's Sheep Shearing, gather sheep that are brought to ranch for shearing the wool off. Workers Shear and remove the fleece from sheep,Catch and position animals for shearing, an by the use of sheep shearing scissors and other service equipment. Select and prepare shearing equipment, Repair, maintain, and service equipment, Return shorn animals to pens for checking and counting, feed and water while the sheep are waiting in lots to be picked up and delivered to respective owners. Workers must be able to lift 60 - 70 lbs without help. an work under the hot sun of South Texas.
