Job Duties:
Worker activities include greenhouse planting/production, greenhouse packaging, greenhouse watering, loading and unloading of product off rack. Workers will also work outdoors in field, planting, weeding with a long-handled hoe, harvesting by picking and cutting from stalks and stems. Worker must be able to lift 70lbs, and have 3 months experience in greenhouse/nursery production. Crops to be worked include, but are not limited to; cucumber, beets, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, swiss chard, collards, gourds, pumpkins, leeks, celery, fennel, herbs (indoor and outdoor crops) winter squash, tomato, pepper, and eggplant.
