- Job Duties:
- Workers will be offered 48 hours each week with 1 day off each week. Care taking for horses. Grooming such as brushing, washing, combing mane and tail. Cleaning hoofs, cleaning feed stalls and watering troughs and buckets. Feeding and watering. Leading horses to and from field and barn. Haltering and holding horses for blacksmith and vet. Give horses medication as prescribed by veterinarian. Inspect and observe horses for injury or sickness. Disinfect items used on horses. Assist with loading and unloading horses on trailers. Farm field and barn sanitation. Cleaning and sweeping tack room and barn aisles. Assist with holding horses while foaling and tending to newborn foals. Any other actions as determined by mgt.
