- Job Duties:
- Drives/operates farm machinery in planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops used for animal feed by using all-natural, antibiotic-free practices and emphasizes humane and sustainable farming methods. Keep accurate maintenance logs for all farm equipment, including tractors, mowers, balers, and composting machinery. Oversees the daily health and welfare of pregnant mares, newborn foals, and young horses. Assists during the foaling process. Provides ongoing support during pregnancy, foaling, and the postnatal period to ensure the well-being of the mares and foals. Works with specialists to ensure a smooth breeding process and monitors both the mare and developing foal. Cleans and maintains comfortable housing for both mares and foals.
