Job Duties:
1. Intensive management of fruit growth stage. 2. High-density work and control of high-quality plantings. 3.Population management, pruning, and sowing coordinate orientation. 4.Cluster protection during harvest and growth. 5. Selection of banana production units. 6. Chop Down plants to improve population, density and distribution at a rate of 39 acres per hour. 7. Application of fertilizers on crops 8. New crops banana plantings 9.Controlling a broad spectrum of weeds in bananas. 10. Cleaning and Snapping. 11. Strip the leaves of crops of the excess foliage at a rate of 2.16 acresper hour. 12. Remove the son from the crop. 13. Banana harvest 14.Placement of plastic cover for fruit protection 15. Harvest each employee must make 15 bunches per hour. 16. In Cluster protection each employee must make 24 bunches per hour. 17.Application of fertilizers on crops each employee must spread 150 pounds per hour. Workers will work 8 hours per day, six days a week, with one day off. However, it may come a time when they will be asked to perform tasks that are not listed above in order to cover the farm’s needs. If this happens, workers that choose to work extra hours will be paid overtime rate of time and a half for any task not listed above. The nature of agricultural work requires continuous effort to ensure proper care of crops. During planting and harvesting seasons, work is intense and requires long hours to clean the farm, finish tasks on time, prevent the spread of pests, etc. Due to the nature of the work and the weather conditions, it is necessary to establish flexible measures in work schedules to ensure the safety of workers. As long as the weather conditions require it (due to heavy rain, high temperatures or strong winds) the work schedule may be adjusted. Always taking into account the safety of everyone and the impact on scheduled activities. Any employee who does not comply with these metrics will be subject to a corrective process, which will include: verbal warning, written warning, evaluation of the improvement plan and additional disciplinary actions. The objective of this process is to encourage continuous improvement and thus achieve the goals.
