Job Duties:

Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the facility to ensure timely and complete delivery. Manually or mechanically load or unload agricultural products from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Accurately mix and apply fertilizer and/or chemicals per blend sheet specifications. Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, and secure chemicals for distribution to designated areas. Calculate/batch blends and pump them into storage tanks on vehicles. Collect seed samples. Take soil, water and petal samples. Treat seed, bag fertilizer. Weigh materials/products and record weight or other production data gas or labels. Maintain accurate records/logs. Assist with dispatching equipment and operators. Operate field equipment such as self-propelled sprayers and Terragators. Make necessary repairs to equipment and facilities. Perform additional tasks as required. Provide an organized, clean and safe work environment. Follow safety guidelines and perform all duties in a safe manner. Comply with environmental regulations. Must pay attention to detail and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.
