Job Duties:

We farm 3000 acres of corn, beans, and cotton. We also have 20 head of cattle. We need seasonal employees to assist with tilling, planting, spraying, harvesting, and hauling these crops. Employees will need to drive pickup, tractors, combine, sprayers and perform all agricultural duties related to production of these crops. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on the equipment. Employees will need to assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems and complete other farm related duties as they arise on the day-to-day farm environment. Employees will need to assist with working cattle including castrating, weighing, record keeping, administering medications, giving vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate for the season. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements:

Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to obtain a Private Applicators License through the Mississippi State Extension Service (PVA license). Require a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
