Job Duties:

We are a 4,000 acres row crop farming operation. We grow corn, edible beans and carrots utilizing center pivot and subsurface drip irrigation. Our equipment is late model Fendt tractors and combine. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, clean work areas, feel plants/crops leaves and note coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, record information about crops, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, Obtain MN drivers license within 60 days of arrival. Obtain MN Pesticide Applicator License within 60 days of arrival; equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, sprayers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, Edible beans, carrots.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
