Job Duties:

We are a 5,000 acre Rice and soybean farm in Northeast Arkansas. We do lots of tractor driving, keeping crops watered with poly pipe and levee irrigation. Our equipment mainly consist of 2012-2024 John Deere equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, construct structures to support plant growth, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, Keep things clean and looking nice. . Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, semi trucks, sprayers, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: rice, soybeans.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
