- Job Duties:
- Attend to live horses. Duties include feed, water, bathe, exercise, walk, and load horses. Clean and maintain stalls. Assist with care and treatment of illnesses and ailments for horses. Assist with foaling and foal care for all new horses. Assist with all equine nutrition including nutrition for pregnant mare's, foals, and thoroughbreds. Assist with diagnosing common illnesses and ailments in horses. Work with other employees to treat illnesses and ailments in horses. Handle the daily maintenance of horses on the farm. Assist veterinarian on the property to handle and care for all horses.
