Job Duties:

Seasonal/temporary farmworkers needed for work on crawfish farm in Acadia Parish 02/06/2025 to 6/15/2025. Job duties include general farm work, farm field/shed sanitation duties includes: mow grass, dig ditches, levees, fences, etc. Minor maintenance/operation of farm equipment, harvest crawfish, bait, re-bait, cutup bait, repair traps, plant rice, etc. When time allows process, grade, deliver to storage or market, etc. Must peel a minimum of 5 lbs. of tail meat per hour. Must be able to perform physical activities that involve considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs. and for extended periods of time. Work is conducted outside in all kinds of weather, including rain and extreme heat and cold. Once hired may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Time may vary due to mechanical, availability of crop and weather conditions.
