- Job Duties:
- Driver will pick up workers, take them to the worksite, and drive them back to their housing when needed. Duties include performing maintenance on farm machinery, repair and maintain irrigation equipment, mix soil and general farm maintenance. Other duties may include simple daily vehicle maintenance checks, timekeeping, field walking, filling water jugs for the workers when needed and ensuring field sanitation and safety measures are maintained. Driver may be asked to assist with inventory, check irrigation and check plants for dryness and diseases (scouting). Driver is required to live in the housing provided by the employer and report any housing deficiencies or issues to the employer. Driver will also take workers once a week to the bank and grocery store. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense.

- Shuttle Driver requirements: Driver's license with passenger endorsement and clean driving record, preferably CDL Medical exam certificate 1 year of combined experience driving (preferably a semi-truck) and as a field walker (verifiable) Microsoft Excel skills or knowledge Ability to communicate with nursery laborers in their spoken language Drivers must be available for the entire period requested by the employer Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. The employer is a drugfree workplace and has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in the workplace and in the employer-provided housing. Drug screening will be conducted post-hire at employer's expense for cases with valid reasons for suspicion.
