Job Duties:

We operate a Family Farm located in central Utah. We farm corn, small grains, and alfalfa. We also have a small beef cow herd. We need seasonal employes to begin spreading manure and preparing the ground in March. We begin moving cows to summer pasture in April. Corn planting starts the first of May. Employees will need to operate farm equipment to prepare fields and plant crops. The first crop, alfalfa, will start by the end of June. We put in three subsequent crops of hay throughout the summer. Employees will also need to assist with irrigation duties through the year, including installation, repairs and maintenance. In September we begin planting small grains and harvesting corn. We wean beef calves in October. We begin moving cows to winter pasture in Oct-Nov. No assistance is needed with cattle or crops during the winter months. Job duties required would include operating equipment (planting, ground prep, spreading fertilizer, operating a loader, etc) and assisting with irrigation. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
