Job Duties:

We are a 12k acre cotton and corn row crop operation. We run late model John Deere tractors and sprayers as well as grain trucks. We also have land leveling equipment to improve our farms. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, record information about crops, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors, . The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, cotton, grain sorghum, wheat. Work along with others for a common goal. Speak and understand english.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
