- Job Duties:
- Work in the nursery and greenhouse; prepare and clean plant trays; seed and care for seedlings; apply water and fertilizers to plants; load and unload plants onto trucks and wagons; clean greenhouse area; set, plant, and transplant trees and shrubs; weed, thin, and prune nursery stock; separate plants, ball, and wrap or pot; prepare grounds for next crop; discard and remove old stock from pots or fields; and use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, hand pruners, shears, and knives. May perform other job duties pursuant to 45-2092.00, Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse.
