Job Duties:

Tasks will be related to the planting, growing, cultivating, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, harvesting, and sorting of diverse vegetables and fruit crops. These crops may include but are not limited to the following: cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, lettuces, green beans, eggplant, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, potatoes, and specialty vegetables. Workers may be required to do any other manual task involved in the production of fruit and vegetable crops. All work must be performed carefully according to instruction to avoid damage to fruit and vegetable crops. The employer , at no cost, will provide any tools or equipment necessary to perform required tasks to the worker. Workers must be able to work outdoors in dusty and dirty conditions, in extremes of heat and cold, and in inclement weather. Must be able to crouch, bend, sit on the ground, reach, lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lb. Must be able to listen to, understand, and follow simple instructions of field operations leaders and supervisors. This job requires three months of verifiable prior experience.
