Job Duties:
Worker will be required to complete the following activities: general field, vineyard and garden maintenance; pruning, clipping, trimming; weeding; shoveling; hoeing; fertilize; mulch; hedge; trunk painting; collect soil samples, mowing; hand fertilizing; thinning; pruning; grafting; tying or clipping limbs; planting or transplanting plants and trees; blossom and shoot removal; complete harvest preparation tasks such as wash and sanitize harvesting bins or repair harvesting bins; hand harvest to quality standards of fruit, vegetables, and grapes; packaging produce for sale, load and unload and transport product to processing facilities; laying or planting ground cover; fencing and trellis system maintenance and repair, spray crops; Record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, leaf condition, crop damage, complete general hand tasks to include picking up garbage around the field/vineyard/garden, removing old plants and trees, weeding, picking up sticks, rocks and brush throughout the field/orchard; conduct various field and farm clean up tasks at end of season. Maintain grounds and landscaping. Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Assist with farm building/field maintenance and repairs to include carpentry work and painting as needed. Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent with Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse under Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Code 45-2092. Equipment used to perform job duties include, but not limited to clippers, hoe, spade, pliers, wrench, screwdriver, cutting knife, gloves, tractor, planters, hand truck, power pruners, wheel barrows, shovels, hedgers, chain saw, tiller, trailer, forklift, hand truck, lawn mower, etc. All equipment and tools used in the performance of row crops and vineyard duties are provided by employer. May be asked to drive and operate off road vehicles, tractors or other agricultural equipment including but not limited to golf cart, utility vehicle, mowers, post pounders, tractor with spray attachment; routine general cleaning, repairs and maintenance of farm equipment and tools may be required.

Work is performed in an outdoor, fast paced environment and can involve exposure to sun, wind, mud, dust, low light and other natural elements. Workers must walk in variable soil conditions. Temperatures may range from 10 to 100 F. Workers may be required to work during occasional showers not severe enough to stop field operations. Workers should be physically able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodations. Workers should come to work prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear for the work and working conditions. Worker must possess requisite physical strength and endurance to repeat harvest and general farm labor process throughout workday. Workers should be able to work on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time. Work requires repetitive movements, extensive walking, lifting/carrying and climbing ladders. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, related chemicals, etc. may affect workers' ability to perform the job.
