Job Duties:

We farm 5,500 acres of corn and soybeans. We perform every task from start to finish - planting, spraying, tillage, and harvest. We haul all of our grain from the field to the storage location, and have pivots to be serviced during the season. Employees will assist with loading and hauling seed to planters, loading liquid fertilizer, chemicals, and water to haul to planters and sprayers, hauling grain and cleaning out grain bins, hauling and unloading dry fertilizer, pulling drainage risers, laying drainage tile, and tillage. Employees will operate pivot irrigation systems during the growing season and mowers in the summer. Employees will also assist with general upkeep of farm. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion., Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements:

Job requires extensive walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
