- Job Duties:
- Work on grape crop, including vine suckering, vine planting, leaf removal, early season crop thinning, move wires, canopy work, trellis system, installation and repairs, maintenance of fencing surrounding fields, vine staking, training of young vines, drip system installation and repair, picking, weed removal with long handled hoes, pruning, vineyard layout, root picking and preparation, including the removal of stones, tree roots and other debris as necessary, harvest of wine grape. Equipment operation, welding, storage, shed cleaning and organization. Equipment maintenance, repair, vehicle maintenance. Maintain proper record keeping.
