Job Duties:
Employees will be responsible for driving semi-trucks, checking oil, checking tires and fueling daily in harvesting corn and soybeans. They will haul corn and soybeans to the farm from the field as well as haul grain to town when sold from the farm. The operation of driving semi-trucks is 90% solely in the fields/within the farm. This position does not require as much training, licensure, knowledge and the workers are not required to have a CDL license. Employees will also be driving John Deere tractors, hauling grain carts and tanks as well as tillage in the field. Washing semi-trucks, tractors, combines, field tillage equipment. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and be available to work Monday through Saturday from 6AM until 11PM. Beginning and ending times will vary depending on the weather condition and workload. The job will require extensive sitting in tractor, potential to get dirty, pushing, pulling, basic mechanical ability and tractor operation. Drug/alcohol-free work zone. Workers after hire, may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Workers are required to have driver's license Class C to drive provided transportation between company owned fields and farm sites, and worker's housing.
