Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Driving large farm equipment and machinery equipped with John Deere Greenstar GPS in the field for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops; walking fields pulling off-type weeds; assisting with the operation of irrigation systems for watering crops; record information about crops; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment as well as farm buildings, fences, and other structures; inform farm managers of crop progress; work outside in extreme conditions; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; attach implements using hand tools; attend to live farm animals such as cattle; use basic math to compute applicant mixes to be sprayed on crops; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
