Job Duties:

Workers will, plant, spray, weed, fertilize and water plants, shrubs, and trees, using hand tools and gardening tools. Harvest asparagus and sort, plant and transplant or pot and label flowers and plants, and trees. Inspect plants for pests and disease, thins, digs, cuts and transplants seedlings. Packages, arranges and sorts harvested products in greenhouse by hand. Workers will maintain greenhouses and coverings. Drug screens are performed upon accident, incident or suspicion (at the expense of the employer). Failure or refusal of a drug screen is grounds for immediate termination.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
