Job Duties:
Duties may include: Plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water, and prune plants, shrubs, and trees, using gardening tools. Move racks, containerized shrubs, plants, and trees. Load and unload trucks. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Set up and operate irrigation equipment & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements:
Must be 18 due to equipment use. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Variable weather conditions may apply. It will be conducted after hire at employers expense/ Drug testing is required due to equipment use and working around the public. Drug testing will be required in order to operate trucks/moving equipment or in relation to incidents that occur during work.
