- Job Duties:
- On farm, operate agricultural equipment for temporary, seasonal farming activities such as planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, including corn, soybeans, cotton, and pecans. Operate machinery for planting and apply herbicide treatments. Prepare the ground, cut hay, and plant soybeans. Plant cotton and apply fertilizers to crops. Assist with irrigation systems, including flood irrigation and pump maintenance, ensuring compliance with water rights and volume restrictions. Harvest crops, including pecans and conduct end of season farm maintenance. Provide supplemental assistance with other seasonal farm duties as needed. The equipment to be used includes tractors, planters, irrigation pivots, sprayers, harvesters, and pumps
