- Job Duties:
- Raise berries: (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, currants, gooseberries, elderberries, aronia) plant, irrigate, weed, mulch, prune, tie, harvest. Raise vegetables: (tomatoes, peppers, herbs, melons, beans, squash) plant, irrigate, prune, trellis, weed, harvest. Raise kiwifruit, paw paw, and persimmons plant, prune, irrigate, fertilize, and harvest. Assist with farmers market by preparing product and displays of our products and freezing excess production for future use in pies, juice, and spreads. Help produce value added products from excess product. Maintain (placing supers, preventing swarms, medicating) beehives and harvest honey. Help with cleanup and maintaining farm grounds and equipment.
