Job Duties:
We are a large acre corn, millet, milo, forage sorghum, sugar beet and livestock operation in the panhandle of Nebraska. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc., attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, construct facilities, construct structures to support plant growth, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, feel plants/crops leaves and note coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, hand pick and manually grade crops, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, operate equipment for a cotton gin, participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops, position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers, record information about crops, regulate conditions, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, trap and destroy pests, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, weigh containers and record weights and identifying information, work in extreme temperatures, Any other duties assigned by employer. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, beekeeping equipment, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, box sorting equipment, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, horseback riding for sorting, caring for livestock, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, packaging equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, silage choppers, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors, Any other duties assigned by employer. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, chickens, horses, pigs, sheep, whitetail deer, bushes, corn, flowers, fruit, grain sorghum, hay, sheep, shrubs, silage, sugar beets, sunflowers, trees, vegetables, wheat, Milo, Millet, Oats, Dry edibles. CDL not required. Employees will be required to fulfill any and all duties assigned by employer. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
