Job Duties:

Feed, administer medication, monitor health for signs of sickness, assist with calving, perform artificial insemination and manage waste. Repair fencing as needed. General farm maintenance including but not limited to mowing, bushhogging, weed eating. Cutting and baling hay and/or other forage for use as feed. Planting grazing plots. Maintain farm equipment and facilities including performing repairs as necessary. Operate equipment including tractors, lawn mowers, and other machinery as necessary. Clean work areas. Maintain farm grounds. Maintain pastures. May use hand tools including but not limited to pick ax, shovel, machete, manual hole digger. Load and lift 50lb feed bags. Perform other farm duties as necessary to maintain cattle operation. Workers who hold a valid US drivers license may transport other workers and/or deliver, load, and unload cattle. Drug and alcohol testing may be conducted post hire at the employer?s expense and is not part of the interview process.
