Job Duties:

General farm labor on a cattle operation such as: Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies; Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures; Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease; Administer medications and vaccinations; Mark livestock to identify ownership; Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals; Segregate animals according to weight, age, and physical condition; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another manually or using trucks, trailers, UTVs; Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to forage; Perform duties related to breeding, weaning, and calving; Receive and sell stocker cattle.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
