Job Duties:

Workers will perform a variety of duties relating to the production of raspberries, Hazlenuts and flowers. Workers will assist in the preparation of ground for planting new trees using tractors, implements and various hand tools. Workers will perform digging by hand, with a shovel, and will also use a hoe to manage weeds in new plantings. Workers will plant trees by hand. Worker will use hand tools to perform necessary cuts to wire for tree supports. Workers will plant flower starts or seeds as directed. Workers will harvest flowers by hand, using clippers when necessary. Workers will put cut flowers in buckets of water and deliver to cold storage on farm. Workers will install, maintain and operate drip irrigation, as directed by owner. Workers will install weed barrier. Workers will apply compost. Workers will assist in hand harvesting berries, field packing in clamshells, and transporting to cold storage on farm as directed. Workers will assist with training canes as needed. Workers will perform general clean-up of farm areas. Workers will complete daily paperwork required for GAP audit purposes, and production tracking.
