Job Duties:

Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm field equipment to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops and transport crops to elevator or storage area. Job also requires changing combine cutting heads; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of storage sheds and all farm field equipment, with the exception of semi-trucks; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing equipment. This position will not require workers to operate or work with semi-trucks. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer. Radios will be provided to workers, without charge or deposit, in all equipment so workers can communicate with persons capable of responding to the workers’ needs in case of emergency.

Special Requirements:

Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive sitting or walking. Random drug testing may occur post-hire at the employers expense. These checks may be performed to ensure safe housing and work environments for all workers. Positive drug test results or refusal to comply with testing may result in termination of employment.
